This medication is used for adjunctive treatment of gingivitis and mild to moderate periodontitis that occur after periodontal therapy.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults should take 1 capsule three times a day after meals.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by children under 15 years of age. Additionally, this medication contains lactose, so individuals with genetic issues digesting lactose should avoid taking it. Anyone who has experienced allergic reactions to medications or cosmetics, or is currently taking other medications, should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Individuals who have had allergic symptoms in the past due to medications or eggs should also exercise caution. It is advisable to consult a specialist if currently receiving treatment or if there is a family history of allergic predisposition. If symptoms such as skin rash, redness, diarrhea, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, or oral inflammation occur after taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. Particularly, urgent attention is needed in cases of severe skin rash or high fever, or severe inflammation of the oral and throat mucosa. If symptoms do not improve after taking the medication for over a month, discontinue use and consult medical personnel. It is essential to follow the prescribed dosage and regimen when taking this medication and to avoid long-term continuous use. This medication should be stored in a safe place out of reach of children, and to maintain the quality of the medication, it should be stored in its original container with the cap tightly closed, rather than being transferred to another container.

Skin Mucosal Syndrome (Stevens-Johnson syndrome), Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis (Lyell syndrome), rash/redness accompanied by high fever, edema resembling burns, and systemic symptoms affecting skin and mouth and throat mucosa
