How to take

Adult dose

For adults, take 3 to 6 tablets at a time, twice a day (morning and evening).

Child dose

For ages 7 to 14 years, take 2 to 3 tablets, twice a day (morning and evening).

Precautions

This medicine should not be taken by children under 6 years of age. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should avoid it as it can cause uterine contractions or congestion of pelvic organs, leading to risks of miscarriage or preterm labor. Nursing mothers should refrain from taking this medicine or discontinue breastfeeding, as the ingredients can be transferred to breast milk and cause diarrhea in the baby. During the course of taking this medicine, do not take other diarrhea-inducing medications together. Patients with hypertension, heart disease, kidney disease, or edema; symptoms of diarrhea; those with weak stomachs; loss of appetite, nausea, or vomiting symptoms; and those who are very physically weak should consult a healthcare professional before taking this medicine. It is also important for individuals who have experienced allergic reactions to drugs, are currently taking other medications, and the elderly to consult a expert before use. If symptoms such as swelling of the face or hands and feet, or elevated blood pressure occur while taking this medicine, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. If unusual symptoms such as muscle weakness, convulsions, skin rashes, or indigestion occur, stop taking it and consult a doctor. If symptoms do not improve within a few days, it is necessary to consult a specialist. It is essential to follow the prescribed dosage and administration strictly, as the effect can vary by individual. Long-term use is not recommended, and if long-term use is unavoidable, it should be discussed with a professional. Irritant laxatives should not be taken for more than one week to prevent tolerance or worsening constipation, and when giving to children, parental supervision is required. Be cautious when taking medications containing potassium or glycyrrhiza, and certain diuretics, as it may increase the risk of side effects.
