This medication is used for the treatment of typical intestinal diseases such as acute and chronic colitis, diarrhea, and ulcerative colitis.
How to take
Adult dose
Typically, adults take 20 granules once, 3 times a day before or between meals.
Child dose
For ages 11–14 years: 13 granules once, for ages 8–10 years: 10 granules once, taken 3 times a day before or between meals. Not for children under 7 years old.
Precautions
This medication should not be taken by children under 7 years old or people with a genetic condition that impairs lactose digestion. Elderly individuals, those taking other medications, individuals with diarrhea accompanied by fever, persistent blood or mucus in stools, individuals with a weak stomach, loss of appetite, nausea, or vomiting symptoms should consult with a professional before taking this medication. If allergic reactions such as skin rash, itching, or hives occur, or symptoms such as loss of appetite, abdominal discomfort, nausea, or diarrhea appear after taking this medication, stop use immediately and consult a professional.
