This medication is used to relieve loss of appetite, abdominal bloating, intestinal fermentation issues, and hemorrhoid symptoms caused by constipation.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

3-5 tablets per dose, taken once daily at bedtime. However, start with the minimum dose and adjust slightly based on the shape and condition of bowel movements.

Children's dosage

Ages 11-14: 2-4 tablets per dose, Ages 7-10: 1-3 tablets per dose, taken once daily at bedtime. However, start with the minimum dose and adjust slightly based on the shape and condition of bowel movements.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by patients with acute abdominal diseases, intestinal obstruction, and children under 7 years of age. It is advisable not to take this medication within 1 hour of consuming antacids or milk. Patients experiencing severe abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, or those with hypertension, elderly patients, or those with heart or kidney problems, and individuals with edema must consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this medication. It is important for women who are pregnant or may become pregnant to consult with a healthcare professional before taking this medication. People on other medications, those with allergic constitutions, or those with a history of rectal bleeding or impaired bowel function should also take caution. Additionally, if symptoms such as decreased urination, swelling of the face and limbs, increased blood pressure, or headaches occur, inform a doctor promptly. If abdominal discomfort or cramps occur, or if symptoms do not improve after several days of use, or if constipation does not improve after about a week of use, discontinue and consult a healthcare professional. This medication must be taken according to the prescribed dosage and frequency, and should be administered to children under supervision. Long-term use may lead to tolerance to the medication and exacerbate constipation, therefore it is preferable not to use it for more than one week. If daily laxatives are needed, it is essential to investigate the underlying cause of constipation. This medication should be stored out of reach of children and kept in a cool place in a sealed container, avoiding direct sunlight and moisture. Moreover, to prevent misuse and to maintain quality, do not transfer the medication to another container.
