Treatment of allergic and inflammatory skin diseases (eczema, contact dermatitis, etc.) and first-degree burns
This medication is used to relieve inflammation and itching associated with allergic or inflammatory skin conditions accompanied by secondary infections, such as eczema, contact dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, photodermatitis, chronic simple lichen, desquamative dermatitis, psoriasis, and various other skin disorders. It also helps in the treatment of first-degree burns. It is effective in improving symptoms caused by these conditions and restoring skin health.
Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area once to three times a day.
This medication should not be used in patients with bacterial, fungal, viral, or animal skin infections as it may worsen symptoms. Individuals with allergies to this medication or its components should also refrain from using it. Patients with perforations in their eardrums or severe burns or ulcers should avoid its use as it may delay skin healing. It is also advisable not to use it in cases of perioral dermatitis or specific skin conditions. Patients with antibiotic hypersensitivity must consult with a specialist before using this medication. Pregnant or nursing women and children should always consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. This medication contains propylene glycol, which may cause allergic reactions, so caution is required. If unusual symptoms such as infection signs, irritation, rash, itching, or redness occur while using it, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. Long-term or extensive use may lead to side effects such as hormonal dysfunction, skin atrophy, or pigment changes, so caution is necessary. Special care should be taken when used around the eyes due to the risk of increased intraocular pressure or glaucoma. Prolonged use may result in side effects like renal function decline or hearing loss, so long-term use should be avoided. Always adhere to the prescribed dosage and administration, especially in children who should be supervised by a guardian. If this medication is used extensively or occlusive dressings are applied, systemic side effects may occur, requiring regular check-ups. Discontinue use as soon as symptoms improve, and if there is no effect after 3-4 weeks of treatment, consider other conditions. If hypersensitivity reactions arise, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should avoid large or prolonged use, and caution is also necessary for breastfeeding mothers. Children are more susceptible to side effects than adults, so only the minimal dosage should be used. When using this medication, store it out of reach of children and keep it in its original container. It should not be used after makeup or shaving, nor should occlusive dressings be applied without a doctor's instruction.
