Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with various skin infections such as bacteria, fungi, and viruses, as it may worsen symptoms. Individuals who are allergic to this medication or have experienced hypersensitivity to this medication's components should avoid its use. Patients with eczematous otitis externa and a perforated tympanic membrane should be cautious, as this medication may delay wound healing. It is advisable not to use this medication in patients with ulcers, severe burns, or frostbite, as skin regeneration may be suppressed, leading to delayed wound healing. Patients with dermatitis around the mouth, common acne, or rosacea should also avoid using this medication. Individuals with hypersensitivity to aminoglycoside antibiotics or bacitracin should exercise caution as they may experience allergic reactions from this medication. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, as well as breastfeeding women, must consult with a doctor or pharmacist before using this medication. Children or pediatric patients should use this medication cautiously, as they may have allergic reactions to its components. If any unusual reactions occur, such as redness, itching, swelling, or rash, during the use of this medication, immediately discontinue use and consult a professional. Long-term or extensive use of this medication can cause skin atrophy, acne, and changes in pigmentation, so the duration and extent of use should be limited. Particularly when using occlusive dressings, this medication may be absorbed considerably through the skin, leading to systemic side effects, so caution is necessary. When used around the eyes, it may lead to elevated intraocular pressure or serious eye diseases such as glaucoma, so application near the eyes should be avoided. This medication must be used according to the prescribed dosage and frequency, and use should be discontinued as soon as symptoms improve. In children, due to their larger skin surface area relative to body weight, there is a greater risk of side effects, so use the minimum amount and supervision by an adult is required. Prolonged use may result in systemic side effects such as pituitary-adrenal suppression, Cushing's syndrome, growth retardation, etc., so caution is advised. This medication is not for ophthalmic use, and should be avoided for uses other than treatment after makeup or shaving. Occlusive dressings must be used only under medical supervision, and the affected area should be cleaned before use to reduce the risk of infection. Store this medication out of the reach of children, and keep it in its original container to prevent misuse or quality degradation.
