Adult dose

Typically, an adult takes 20 granules three times a day before or between meals.

This medicine contains lactose, so individuals with a genetic disorder that prevents lactose breakdown should not take it. Those with hypertension, heart disease, kidney disease, edema, or urinary disorders should consult a healthcare professional before taking this medicine. Individuals with a weak stomach, loss of appetite, nausea, or vomiting symptoms should also consult a professional before taking this medicine. Caution is needed for those who have become very weak after illness and for those who sweat excessively. Patients with hyperthyroidism or diabetes should also consult a professional before taking this medicine, and care is needed for those receiving treatment for other conditions, pregnant or breastfeeding women, children, and the elderly. If symptoms such as edema, increased blood pressure, muscle weakness, insomnia, excessive sweating, rapid heartbeat, abnormal urination, digestive disorders, or liver dysfunction occur during administration of this medicine, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. It is crucial to adhere to the prescribed dosage and administration guidelines, and even for prolonged use, consultation with a professional is required. Particularly, when taken with potassium-containing preparations, licorice, certain diuretics, ephedra, or thyroid medications, the risk of side effects increases, so caution is advised. This medicine should be stored in a cool place away from direct sunlight and kept out of reach of children. Additionally, it should be stored in its original container to prevent misuse or deterioration of quality.

Serious side effects

Decreased urine output, swelling of the face and hands, heavy eyelids, increased blood pressure, headache, hypokalemia, jaundice, suspicious symptoms of liver disease (fatigue, loss of appetite, jaundice, severe upper abdominal pain accompanied by nausea and vomiting, deep-colored urine)
