Precautions

This medication should not be taken by individuals who have previously shown allergic reactions to this medication or its components. People with a history of skin sensitivity to sunlight should also avoid this medication. Women who are pregnant, may become pregnant, or are breastfeeding are advised against taking this medication as its safety has not been sufficiently confirmed. While taking this medication, caution should be exercised when it is used together with certain antiviral drugs, anticoagulants, cytotoxic agents, and immunosuppressants, as it may reduce the efficacy of the medication or cause side effects. It is important to avoid prolonged exposure to strong sunlight or ultraviolet rays while taking this medication, and to refrain from sunbathing or using tanning beds. Individuals with a history of liver disease or other serious health problems, and those currently receiving treatment from a physician should consult a specialist before taking this medication. If symptoms such as skin rash, itching, increased sensitivity to sunlight, fatigue, anxiety, drowsiness, gastrointestinal disturbances, or jaundice occur during use, the medication should be discontinued immediately, and a consultation with a specialist should be sought. In case of overdose, skin may become sensitive to sunlight, so it is important to avoid sunlight for 1 to 2 weeks after taking it and to wear protective clothing and use sunscreen when going outside. This medication can activate enzymes involved in drug metabolism in the liver, potentially lowering the blood concentration of other medications, so caution should be taken when used in conjunction with cardiac agents, bronchodilators, antiarrhythmics, anticonvulsants, and sedative-hypnotics, as it may reduce their effectiveness. Additionally, the effectiveness of oral contraceptives may be diminished, and side effects may increase when taken with migraine medications or antidepressants, so consultation with a specialist is necessary. This medication must be taken according to the prescribed method and dosage, kept out of the reach of children, and stored in its original container away from direct sunlight and moisture.
