Adult dose

Adults aged 15 years and older: Take 1-2 tablets once a day before bedtime (or on an empty stomach). The initial dose should be the minimum amount and adjusted according to the state and symptoms of constipation.

This medication contains lactose and should not be used in patients with genetic disorders that cause lactose intolerance. Individuals with severe abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting, pregnant women or those who may become pregnant, people receiving medical treatment, those with high blood pressure or older individuals, and patients with heart or kidney issues should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If urine output decreases, or if the face or hands and feet swell, eyelids feel heavy, hands feel stiff, blood pressure rises, or headaches occur during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. Long-term use of medications containing a large amount of licorice can result in low potassium levels in the blood, increased blood pressure, or swelling, so it should be monitored carefully and discontinued if abnormalities occur. Taking potassium-containing medications or those that include licorice, or certain diuretics, can cause muscle-related side effects such as muscle weakness or cramps, so caution is advised when taking them together. This medication must be taken according to the prescribed dosage and administration, and if symptoms such as abdominal pain, diarrhea, or vomiting worsen after taking it, discontinue and consult a professional. Additionally, this medication may cause urine color to change to yellow-brown or reddish due to its main ingredient, which is not a cause for concern. Stimulant laxatives can lead to tolerance and worsening constipation with prolonged use, so it's advisable not to use it for more than a week. Do not take with other laxatives, keep the medication out of reach of children, avoid direct sunlight, and store in a cool, dry place. Also, do not transfer the medication to another container to maintain its quality.

Serious side effects

Decreased urine output, severe swelling of the face or hands and feet (edema), heaviness of the eyelids, stiffness of the hands, increased blood pressure, muscle diseases due to hypokalemia (weakness, limb cramps, paralysis)

Mild side effects

Severe abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, headache, urine may change to yellow-brown or reddish.

This medication may be sensitive to air or moisture, so it should be stored in a sealed container. It is important to maintain a storage temperature between 1 and 30 degrees Celsius at room temperature to preserve the medication's effectiveness.
