Patients taking medications such as steroids, antibiotics, anticancer drugs, or azole antifungals should also not use this medication. In cases of blood anomalies such as anemia, thrombocytopenia, or leukopenia, caution should be exercised as this medication may further reduce blood counts. Individuals allergic to histamine H2 receptor antagonists should not use this medication. The safety of this medication has not been established for children under 15 years and the elderly over 80 years, particularly elderly patients may experience heightened effects due to reduced kidney function, necessitating caution. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, as well as nursing mothers, are advised against using this medication. If a nursing mother takes this medication, she should cease breastfeeding. Patients receiving dialysis treatment should also not use this medication. This medication contains lactose and should not be given to patients with genetic conditions such as lactose intolerance, lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption. Patients under medical supervision or taking other medications should use this medication cautiously due to potential drug interactions that may cause side effects or diminish effectiveness. Patients with a history of drug allergies should also be cautious when taking this medication. Elderly individuals over 65 years may experience varying degrees of physical decline, so they should use this medication carefully. Patients with sore throat, cough, or high fever may have a serious infection possibility and should consult their physician before taking this medication. Consultation is also necessary before use if experiencing unexplained weight loss or persistent abdominal pain, as other diseases may be present. This medication contains a colorant known as Yellow No. 4, so individuals allergic to this substance should use it with caution. If symptoms such as rash, itching, swelling, constipation, diarrhea, vomiting, headache, dizziness, or muscle pain occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician or pharmacist. If symptoms such as chest tightness, pale complexion, cold hands and feet, clamminess, or shortness of breath occur, immediate medical consultation is required. If severe skin rash or blisters, sore throat, bleeding tendencies, or jaundice occur alongside a high fever, stop taking the medication immediately and visit a medical institution. If symptoms do not improve after taking for more than 3 days, consultation with a physician is necessary as other diseases may be involved, and long-term use should not exceed 2 weeks. Avoid alcohol while taking this medication and do not exceed the prescribed dose. Taking this medication alongside other gastrointestinal medications may exacerbate side effects and should be avoided. The antacid component in this medication may interfere with the absorption of specific antibiotics and antimicrobials, so precautions are necessary if taken together.
