This medication is used for the treatment of brown spots, melasma, freckles, and liver spots caused by excessive melanin pigmentation in the skin, as well as brown spots that develop after inflammation.

Precautions
This medication should be particularly careful to avoid exposure to sunlight. Even minimal exposure to sunlight may continue melanin production in the skin, making the use of sunscreen and protective clothing necessary. While using this medication, side effects of skin discoloration may occur, so the applied area should not be directly exposed to sunlight. Some of the ingredients in this medication have shown potential for mutation and cancer development in animal experiments, so it is important to adjust the duration of use according to therapeutic effects and not to use it for long periods. This medication should not be used in patients with skin infections caused by bacteria, fungi, viruses, or animals, and should not be given to those who have had hypersensitivity reactions or allergies. Additionally, avoid use in patients with vitiligo, melanoma, acute eczema or dermatitis, certain burns and ulcers, perioral dermatitis, pregnant women or women who may become pregnant, children under 12 years of age, and patients with impaired kidney function. Pregnant or breastfeeding women, children, and the elderly should use this medication with special caution under the guidance of a physician. This medication may cause adverse reactions such as redness, swelling, itching, dryness, burning sensation, and skin irritation. In severe cases, discontinue use and consult a physician or pharmacist. In principle, this medication should not be used for eczema or dermatitis accompanied by skin infections; however, if absolutely necessary, it may be combined with appropriate antibacterial or antifungal agents.
