This medication is used to relieve gastrointestinal symptoms such as stomach pain, heartburn, dyspepsia, and nausea.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults (aged 15 years and above, under 80 years): Take 2 tablets at a time; if symptoms do not improve after 5 hours, take another 2 tablets. However, do not exceed 4 tablets per day (2 doses of 2 tablets).

Precautions

This medication should not be administered to patients being treated for blood diseases, kidney or liver diseases, stomach or duodenal diseases, or immune system diseases such as asthma or rheumatism. Caution is needed for patients taking steroids, antibiotics, anticancer agents, or azole antifungals while using this medication. Patients with a history of blood abnormalities such as erythrocytopenia, thrombocytopenia, or leukopenia should not take this medication. Individuals with a hypersensitivity to histamine H2-receptor antagonists should also avoid this medication. Children, especially those under 15 years old, and elderly individuals over 80 years old should be cautious as the safety of this medication has not been established for them. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, as well as those who are breastfeeding, should exercise caution when taking this medication, and it is advisable to stop breastfeeding while taking it. Patients undergoing dialysis treatment should consult a specialist before using this medication. Patients receiving medical care or taking other medications should be cautious as drug interactions may lead to side effects or reduced effectiveness. Individuals with a history of hypersensitivity to medications should take care when using this medication. Seniors aged 65 and above should also exercise caution due to individual variances resulting from decreased physical function. Patients with a sore throat, cough, or high fever may have a serious infection risk, and should consult a doctor before using this medication. If there are unexplained weight loss or persistent abdominal pain, diagnosis is needed as other diseases may be present. If symptoms such as rash, itching, swelling, constipation, diarrhea, vomiting, headache, dizziness, or muscle pain occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. If symptoms like chest tightness, pallor, cold extremities, clammy sweat, or shortness of breath occur, stop taking the medication immediately and inform a specialist. Severe skin rash or blisters accompanied by high fever, sore throat, fatigue, bleeding tendencies, or jaundice also require immediate medical consultation. If symptoms do not improve after taking this medication for 3 days, it is advisable to stop use and consult a specialist as other diseases may be present. Long-term use should not exceed 2 weeks, and alcohol consumption should be avoided during the course of treatment. The prescribed dose should not be exceeded, and one should not take it arbitrarily for other symptoms. Patients with a history of kidney disease must consult a specialist before use. The antacid ingredients in this medication may interact with certain antibiotics or antimicrobial agents, potentially hindering absorption. Therefore, it is advisable to avoid taking it with other gastrointestinal medications as side effects may be intensified.
