Treatment of stomach and duodenal ulcers (antacid effect), alleviation of gastritis symptoms, etc.
This medication is used for various gastrointestinal disorders including stomach and duodenal ulcers, gastritis, excess stomach acid, and heartburn. It also helps alleviate symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, and belching. By neutralizing stomach acid through its antacid effect, it protects the gastric mucosa and improves uncomfortable symptoms. Therefore, it is effective in restoring gastrointestinal health and alleviating symptoms.
As almagate, take 1 g three times a day, chewing and taking orally 30 minutes to 1 hour after meals. If necessary, an additional dose can be taken before bedtime.
Children aged 12 years and older should take the same dosage as adults.
This medication should not be taken by individuals who are allergic to this medication or its ingredients. Patients with Alzheimer's disease or hemorrhoids should also avoid this medication. Those with body swelling, pregnancy-induced hypertension, or diarrhea should refrain from using this medication. Additionally, patients suspected of gastrointestinal bleeding and individuals with genetic issues such as lactose intolerance should not take this medication. While taking this medication, it should not be used concurrently with tetracycline antibiotics, as it may interfere with antibiotic absorption. Individuals currently taking other medications should consult with a doctor or pharmacist, as this medication may affect drug absorption or excretion. In particular, when taken with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, ulcer treatments, digitalis preparations, etc., a gap of more than 2-3 hours should be observed. Patients with poor kidney function should be cautious, as the magnesium or aluminum components of this medication may accumulate in the body. Those with weaker bodies or insufficient intake of phosphorus may experience effects on bone health with prolonged use. Elderly patients, those with symptoms of gastrointestinal bleeding, and pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult a professional before use. If constipation or diarrhea occurs, or if symptoms do not improve after 2 weeks, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. Adhere strictly to the prescribed dosage and administration, and when giving to children, ensure they are supervised by a guardian. When storing, keep out of reach of children, and store in the original container with a tight seal. It is best to keep it in a cool, dry place, avoiding direct sunlight.
Constipation, diarrhea

Do not take this medication together with tetracycline antibiotics. Consultation is required when taking with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, ulcer treatments, digitalis preparations, chlorpromazine, lansoprazole, prednisolone, penicillin, quinolones, iron preparations, salicylates.
This medication should be stored in a tightly sealed container to prevent air or moisture from entering, and it is recommended to maintain the storage temperature at room temperature, avoiding too hot or too cold conditions. Thus, it should be kept away from direct sunlight and stored in a cool, dry place to maintain the medication's effectiveness.
