This medicine should not be taken by women who are pregnant or may become pregnant. This is because the Daehwang ingredient included in this medicine can cause uterine contractions or increase blood flow to pelvic organs, raising the risk of miscarriage or premature birth. Anthraquinone derivatives contained in Daehwang can be passed to breast milk and may cause diarrhea in infants, so nursing should be discontinued or use of this medicine should be avoided. This medicine is also unsuitable for newborns. This medicine contains lactose, so individuals with genetic issues such as lactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should avoid it. Elderly patients may have reduced bodily functions, so it is important to consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine. Furthermore, if you are taking other medications, you should consult a professional as there may be interactions. If symptoms such as loss of appetite, gastrointestinal discomfort, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, or diarrhea occur during the use of this medicine, you should immediately stop taking it and consult a healthcare professional. Additionally, if symptoms do not improve after about a week of use, stop taking the medicine and consult a professional. This medicine is a stimulant laxative, and prolonged use may lead to tolerance or worsening constipation. Therefore, it is advisable not to take it continuously for more than a week, and if daily laxatives are necessary, you should investigate the underlying cause. You must adhere to the prescribed dosages and methods of administration, especially since the laxative effect of Daehwang can vary greatly between individuals. When taking other herbal medicines or natural products together, care should be taken not to have overlapping herbal ingredients, particularly those containing Daehwang. When storing, it should be kept in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and after use, it must be stored tightly sealed. It is safest to store it out of reach of children, and if the medicine is removed from its original container and placed in another, it may lead to misuse or degradation of quality, so it must be stored in the original container.
