This medication can put a strain on the liver, so those who drink more than three glasses of alcohol daily should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. This medication contains the artificial sweetener aspartame, so patients with the hereditary condition phenylketonuria should not take it. Since it contains acetaminophen, taking this medication in addition to other medications containing acetaminophen should not exceed 4,000mg per day to avoid liver damage. Rarely, severe skin rashes or allergic reactions may occur, so if there are any abnormalities in the skin, the medication should be stopped immediately, and a professional consulted. It is safer for those with hypersensitivity, severe liver impairment, kidney impairment, heart function decline, peptic ulcers, and a history of aspirin-induced asthma not to take this medication. Furthermore, it should not be taken if specific medications are being used or if alcohol has been consumed; individuals with lactose intolerance should also exercise caution. Those with liver or kidney problems, a tendency to bleed, asthma, elderly individuals, pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult a professional before taking this medication. If any severe abnormal symptoms such as shortness of breath, facial flushing, hives, vomiting, or skin rashes occur while taking this medication, it should be stopped immediately and medical advice sought. For those taking this medication long-term, it is important to have regular blood tests and liver function tests to check for abnormalities. Children and the elderly should take the minimum dose and have their condition closely monitored after taking it, avoiding use with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. If used for pain relief, do not continue for more than 10 days; if used for fever relief, do not continue for more than 3 days, and consult a professional if symptoms persist.
