Relief of subjective and objective symptoms of various cancers (colon cancer, breast cancer, etc.), and effective treatment of skin malignant tumors
This injection is used to alleviate subjective and objective symptoms experienced by patients with various cancers such as colon cancer, rectal cancer, breast cancer, gastric cancer, liver cancer, pancreatic cancer, ovarian cancer, and uterine cancer. In addition, in the case of esophageal cancer, lung cancer, malignant melanoma, and tongue cancer, it is combined with other antitumor agents or radiation therapy to enhance therapeutic effectiveness. As a cream formulation, it is used for the treatment of skin malignant tumors such as sebaceous cell carcinoma, basal cell carcinoma, Bowen's disease, Paget's disease, radiation keratosis, and senile keratosis. Both formulations are effective in alleviating cancer-related symptoms and treating skin tumors.
(Injection) 1. Intravenous injection (systemic administration): As a monotherapy, typically administered as Fluorouracil at 5-15 mg per kg body weight per day (not exceeding 1 g per infusion) diluted in 300–500 mL of 5% dextrose solution given by slow intravenous drip for 5 days. After that, it should be administered every other day at 5–7.5 mg per kg body weight by slow intravenous drip. 2. Arterial injection: As a monotherapy, typically administered as this drug at 5–7.5 mg per kg body weight per day diluted in 20-100 mL of 5% dextrose solution given by infusion pump continuously for 10–20 days. 3. Combination with radiation therapy: Typically administered as this drug at 5–10 mg per kg body weight in conjunction with radiation therapy, using the same regimen as for monotherapy. 4. Combination with other antitumor agents: Typically administered as this drug at 5–10 mg per kg body weight either in combination with other antitumor agents using the same regimen as for monotherapy or intermittently 1–2 times per week. (Cream) Apply an appropriate amount of this cream once or twice daily to the affected area. In principle, it is advisable to perform a closed seal dressing.
Care must be taken when cutting the ampoule to prevent glass fragments from contaminating the injectable solution. Special caution is required when administering to children or the elderly. This medication should not be used in combination with certain antiviral agents due to the risk of serious hematological disorders. Additionally, when used as part of a combination therapy with other antineoplastics, it should be administered under strict medical supervision, and should only be used in emergency situations when adequate medical facilities and experienced healthcare professionals are available. Regular liver function tests are necessary, and if symptoms such as loss of appetite or fatigue occur, administration should be stopped immediately. This medication should not be used in combination with certain combination products to avoid severe side effects. It should not be administered to pregnant or potentially pregnant women, nursing mothers, or patients taking specific medications. Special considerations should be taken when administering to patients in poor nutritional status, with severe infections, liver dysfunction, kidney problems, heart disease, the elderly, and children, with particular attention to adverse reactions. This medication can cause various adverse reactions related to the nervous system, digestive system, hematopoietic system, liver, kidneys, skin, and respiratory system, and if symptoms arise, a doctor should be consulted immediately. Regular blood tests and liver and kidney function tests should be conducted to closely monitor the condition, and if abnormal findings are discovered, administration should be halted or dosages adjusted. This medication has many drug interactions; if other medications are being taken, it is essential to inform medical personnel, especially that it should not be combined with certain antiviral agents. It is preferable not to use this medication in pregnant or nursing women, and safety in pediatric patients has not been established. Overdosage may result in symptoms such as dizziness and movement disorders, so caution is required. This medication can cause skin damage at the injection site, necessitating careful administration, and when cutting ampoules, it must be done properly to avoid glass fragments. Hands should be washed thoroughly after use, and contact with eyes or mucous membranes should be avoided, while also avoiding exposure to ultraviolet light. This medication should be administered very cautiously based on the patient's condition, and if abnormal symptoms occur, immediate consultation with medical staff is required to receive appropriate care.
