This medication is used to treat degenerative joint diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, tendonitis, acute gout, and dysmenorrhea. It is also effective for bursitis, skeletal muscle disorders (sprains, bruises, wounds, etc.), lower back pain, postoperative pain, migraines, and dental pain. It helps improve the symptoms of patients with various inflammatory and pain-related conditions.

How to take

Adult dose

1. Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis: Administer 275-550mg orally twice a day (every 12 hours). 2. Acute gout: Administer an initial dose of 825mg orally, followed by 275mg every 8 hours until the attack subsides. 3. Precautions

If this medication is taken by someone who regularly consumes more than three glasses of alcohol a day, it may cause gastrointestinal bleeding, and it is essential to consult a doctor or pharmacist. Interactions

Drug interactions

Do not take this medication with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, naproxen derivatives, aspirin, and high doses of methotrexate. Hydantoin anticonvulsants, sulfonamides, sulfonylurea hypoglycemics, propranolol and other beta-blockers, ACE inhibitors, loop diuretics and thiazide diuretics, probenecid, lithium, low-dose methotrexate, coumarin anticoagulants, zidovudine, and fluoroquinolone antibiotics.
