Dosage

Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with iritis. Using it in patients with iritis may cause the irides to adhere to each other or may worsen the inflammation. Patients with heart failure, hyperthyroidism, bowel obstruction, duodenal ulcers, urinary tract disorders, constipation, Parkinson's disease, children, and myopic patients should take caution when using this medication as it may exacerbate their condition or cause side effects. If systemic side effects occur while using this medication, it should be discontinued immediately, and appropriate treatment should be sought. If allergic reactions such as itching or inflammation occur in the eyes, the medication should be stopped. Rarely, cataracts, conjunctival congestion, increased tearing, eye pain, vision adjustment disorders, burning sensation, and headaches may occur. Elderly individuals or those wearing lenses should be cautious as vision may decrease in dark places. Mental confusion or memory disorders may also occur, so any unusual symptoms should be reported. Individuals with weakened heart function should be cautious as symptoms of heart failure may appear or blood pressure may rise. In cases of respiratory diseases, serious issues such as pulmonary edema may arise. Gastrointestinal symptoms such as diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting may occur. When using for the first time, the pupils may constrict suddenly, causing spasms in the eye muscles. Caution should be exercised when driving or operating machinery as it may affect vision. For those wearing contact lenses, the lens should be removed before applying the drops, and lenses should be reinserted at least 30 minutes after the application. Care should be taken as there may be difficulty in the eyes adapting to dark environments. This medication may interact with other muscle relaxants or heart medications and specific parasympathetic stimulants, so if there are other medications being taken, it is essential to inform the healthcare provider. During surgical procedures, this medication may enhance the effects of anesthetics, so it should be avoided. Pregnant women or those who may become pregnant should avoid using this medication due to the risk of uterine contractions. After use, the container should be immediately sealed to block light, and any opened product should not be used for more than one month.
