Precautions

This medication should not be used by individuals who have an allergic reaction to benzalkonium chloride. When using this medication, temporary irritation, burning sensation, pain, conjunctival hyperemia, swelling, and eyelid inflammation may occur. Rarely, conjunctivitis or allergic reactions may also develop. It is advisable to avoid wearing soft contact lenses during treatment. Even if symptoms improve, this medication should continue to be used if exposure to allergy-causing substances like pollen or dust mites persists. Pregnant women or those who may become pregnant should only use this medication when a doctor determines that the benefits outweigh the risks, as it may be harmful to the fetus. This medication is for eye use only and care should be taken to avoid direct contact of the container's tip with the eye. Avoid sharing, and if the medication gets on the skin around the eyes, it should be cleaned off thoroughly. Unused medication should not be used after one month of opening. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, protected from direct sunlight, and kept in a cool, dry place. It should not be transferred to another container, and care should be taken to prevent misuse and maintain the quality of the medication. Allergic reactions due to the benzalkonium chloride component have been reported, so this should be noted when using the product.
