Prevention of infection in minor wounds (cuts, abrasions) and burns
This medication is used to prevent infections in minor cuts, scrapes, and burn areas.
Rash, itching, erythema (redness), edema (swelling), papules, vesicles (blisters), irritation, hypersensitivity, secondary infections, renal impairment (kidney damage), hearing loss (deafness)
This medication should not be used in patients who are allergic to any of its components or have experienced allergic reactions in the past. It should also not be applied to patients with a perforated eardrum or around the eyes. Caution is required when using this medication for patients with deep wounds, severe burns, puncture wounds, or animal bites. If allergic symptoms such as skin rashes occur while using this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Long-term use may lead to side effects such as kidney dysfunction or hearing loss, so prolonged use should be avoided. The prescribed dosage and frequency must be strictly followed, and when used on children, it should be monitored and guided by an adult. If symptoms do not improve after using for 5-6 days, stop using the medication and consult a doctor or pharmacist. If hypersensitivity reactions such as itching, redness, swelling, or blisters occur, stop use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. This medication can lead to excessive growth of resistant bacteria or other infectious agents, so appropriate treatment is needed if such symptoms or irritations arise. For extensive burns or skin ulcers, it is advisable not to use this medication for prolonged periods. This medication is for external use only and must not be ingested or taken orally.
This medication should be stored in a sealed container to avoid exposure to air or moisture. It is important to maintain a storage temperature between 1 to 30 degrees Celsius. This will safely preserve the effectiveness of the medication.
