This medication is used for corticosteroid-responsive skin diseases that are at risk of secondary infection or have secondary infections caused by bacteria sensitive to gentamicin. Common conditions include allergic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis, eczema, chronic simplex lichen, etc. It effectively manages skin inflammation and infections and improves symptoms.

How to use

Adult use

Apply a suitable amount lightly to the affected area 1-2 times a day. Use it cautiously on the face. Reduce the frequency of application as symptoms improve.

Precautions

This medication should not be used on the eyes or around the eyes. Avoid using this medication if there is an infection on the skin by bacteria, fungi, viruses, or animals, as it may worsen the symptoms. It is safe not to use this medication if you have had an allergy or hypersensitivity to this drug or any of its components. Patients with eczematous external otitis with a perforated eardrum should be cautious as the healing of wounds may be delayed. Avoid use on ulcerated or severely burnt, frostbitten areas as skin regeneration may be hindered. Patients with perioral dermatitis, common acne, and rosacea should refrain from using this medication. Patients allergic to gentamicin should not use this medication. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant and breastfeeding women should use this medication with caution and preferably avoid it if possible. Special precautions are necessary when using this medication for children or infants, and it should be used under parental supervision. This medication may lead to skin infections, and if infection symptoms appear, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician. Common skin side effects such as skin irritation, rash, itching, and dryness may occur, so discontinue use if symptoms worsen. Long-term use may lead to skin changes or side effects caused by steroids, so it's best to gradually reduce the dose and switch to a non-corticosteroid medication. Extensive or long-term use of this medication can affect hormonal functions in the body, so regular check-ups are necessary. If used around the eyes, caution must be taken as it can lead to increased intraocular pressure or glaucoma. If there is blurred vision or abnormalities in vision during the use of this medication, it is important to consult an ophthalmologist immediately. Overuse or prolonged use of this medication may result in resistance, leading to infections caused by other bacteria, so caution is necessary. Applying a large amount on the wound or using it with other antibiotics may harm the kidneys or ears, so long-term use should be avoided. Always adhere strictly to the prescribed usage and dosage, and it is advisable to stop using it as soon as symptoms improve. When used by children, thorough guidance and supervision by a guardian are necessary. Using this medication for an extended period or with occlusive dressings may lead to systemic side effects, so caution is advised. Particularly when used on sensitive areas such as the face, neck, and genitals, careful observation for skin side effects is required. If allergic symptoms such as itching, redness, swelling, or rash occur during use, discontinue use immediately. During pregnancy, the use of this medication may affect the fetus, so it is safe to use it only in essential cases on the smallest area for a short duration. Breastfeeding women should also be cautious as this medication may be passed into breast milk. Due to the larger skin surface area compared to body weight, children are at higher risk of side effects and special precautions are necessary. Areas covered by diapers may create an occlusive environment similar to occlusive dressings, increasing the risk of side effects, so caution is advised. With excessive use, symptoms resembling Cushing's syndrome may arise due to the suppression of pituitary and adrenal functions, and in such cases, treatment should include gradually stopping medication use. This medication should not be used for ophthalmic purposes and should be avoided for purposes other than treatment, such as applying on skin after makeup or shaving. Occlusive dressing should not be used without a doctor's guidance, and before use, the affected area should be cleaned to reduce the risk of infection. Store in a place out of reach of children, and caution is necessary as psoriasis patients may see their skin condition worsen with long-term large-scale use of this medication.
