Adult dosage

Precautions

This medication is primarily used for the treatment of psychiatric disorders such as depression. This medication may increase the risk of suicidal thoughts or behavior, particularly in young individuals aged 18 to 24, so careful monitoring and caution are advised when administering it to patients in this age group. It should not be used in certain patients, such as those who are allergic to this medication, those with heart disease or recovering patients, glaucoma patients, those addicted to central nervous system depressants or alcohol, patients with acute delirium, those with urination disorders, patients with arrhythmias, those with cerebral damage, and patients with certain genetic disorders. Additionally, patients with a history of epilepsy or seizures, those with heart disease, hyperthyroidism, women of childbearing potential, children and the elderly, patients with psychotic symptoms, those with bipolar disorder, and patients with liver dysfunction should be administered this medication with special caution. Severe side effects may occur during the course of this medication, so any symptoms such as high fever, muscle rigidity, changes in consciousness, heart abnormalities, skin rashes, etc., should be reported to medical personnel immediately. During the initial phase of treatment, drowsiness, reduced concentration, etc., may occur, so driving or operating dangerous machinery should be avoided.
