I visited Kyunghee Barabom Oriental Medicine Clinic for shoulder stiffness and received acupuncture treatment. Due to long hours of computer work, my neck and shoulder muscles had been constantly tight, and I especially experienced pain when moving. During my initial visit, the doctor personally checked my muscle tension and range of motion, and explained the cause of my pain in detail, diagnosing me with not just a simple muscle knot but also fascia tension and reduced blood flow. The treatment plan primarily focused on acupuncture sessions once or twice a week, and from the first session, I noticed that my shoulder movements became smoother and the intensity of the pain decreased by about 30% or more. After around three treatments, I improved to the point where I hardly felt any discomfort during everyday movements. Throughout the treatment process, the intensity of the stimulation was carefully adjusted, and the treatment location was modified each session based on my progress, which made me feel confident in the care I was receiving. Overall, I was impressed by how they managed my symptoms without unnecessary procedures, and I would definitely recommend this place to others who are struggling with shoulder pain or muscle tension.
