Lee Deok-su Internal Medicine Clinic is pretty big for a neighborhood clinic. They also offer health checkups, so it’s always packed with patients. I visited because I felt like I was coming down with a cold, probably because the temperature difference between day and night has been so big lately, but I was still seen within 20 minutes. As expected, the doctor was very kind, told me to drink plenty of water, and prescribed IV fluids, so I got an IV before leaving. The nurse was also very experienced and gave me the IV so well that it didn’t hurt at all.

This hospital specializes in health checkups, as well as gastroscopies and colonoscopies. Since there are often many patients waiting, including elderly people, it can be somewhat busy and you may have to wait. I went because I needed a prescription. The doctor explained everything kindly and in detail so that it was easy to understand, and took care of me in a reassuring manner.

I came in because my throat was really sore and I had severe muscle aches. The doctor said my throat was quite swollen and prescribed medication, suggesting I try antibiotics as well. Since my muscle aches were so severe, they also prescribed an IV infusion, which I received before leaving. The doctor recommended a flu test too, but I said I would try the medication first and come back for the test if I didn’t improve.

I had stomach pain and underwent an endoscopy, which diagnosed me with gastroesophageal reflux disease. I've been taking medication and receiving consistent treatment.

I regularly visit for my prescriptions of high blood pressure and diabetes medications.
