I was happy to hear my blood test results were good. The doctor encouraged me to keep managing my health the way I am now. They were kind and very warm-hearted.

I visited because I was worried that I might have symptoms of arthritis. I was seen by Dr. Bae Kang-woo. I hesitated because I had read reviews saying that he was unfriendly, but I didn’t feel that kind of atmosphere at all. He was kind and explained everything well. Since arthritis can’t be diagnosed based only on the symptoms you feel, he examined me with X-rays and an ultrasound, but said it would be difficult to consider it arthritis. I also had a blood test. The blood test did not show any signs related to my symptoms, but it did show very mild degenerative changes in about one area of one finger, so he prescribed medication. He said that even if a patient has pain or symptoms, he does not prescribe medication when there are no abnormalities in the objective findings. In cases like this, people who visit specifically to get medication might end up feeling dissatisfied. In my case, I didn’t visit just to get medication—I was worried because I suspected I might have arthritis, and I believe he performed the necessary tests based on that concern. Since the results showed no abnormalities, I was relieved that my worries had been addressed. The cause of the pain could be something else, so I was satisfied with the consultation.

I have a chronic condition, so I come in every two months for consultations and prescriptions. The doctor in charge is always kind, and I really like it here.
