They’re also very good at dental scaling here. They provide treatment well without causing any discomfort. The dental staff are kind and seem very experienced. I previously went in for scaling and had an area where my gums were swollen, so I received good treatment for that too. They only provide the treatment that’s necessary. They also made the scaling process very comfortable. I’ve been to dental clinics where scaling was really uncomfortable. Since then, I’ve only been going to Seongsim Dental Clinic. The dental staff are very experienced too. The counter staff are kind as well.

A while ago, I was chewing on some tough dried squid when I heard a sharp crack from around my molar. After that, every time I chewed, I kept getting this sharp, electric pain that sent chills through me, so I went to a dental clinic. When I went in, the dentist carefully examined it with a camera and showed me a photo, explaining step by step that there was a tiny crack on the surface of the tooth. They said it wasn't at the stage where I needed a root canal right away, but if I left it as it was, the crack could spread all the way to the root, and I might end up having to get the tooth pulled. They gently smoothed down the surface of the tooth and took an impression with a 3D scanner. The dentist and hygienist kept checking in throughout the procedure to make sure my gums weren't being strained and whether I was in pain, so they worked very carefully. After taking the impression, they fitted me with a temporary tooth, and even while I had it in, the sharp pain when chewing was immediately reduced, so I finally felt like I could breathe again. A few days later, they called to say my custom crown was ready, so I went in and had it fitted. They adjusted the bite and the space between the neighboring teeth so precisely that it felt just like my original tooth and was incredibly comfortable. When I paid after finishing the treatment, the total bill came to about 360,000 won. They handled everything neatly with the goal of saving my tooth, without any unnecessary treatment, so I didn't regret spending a single won and was really relieved.
