I’ve always had slightly puffy under-eyes with hollowness underneath, so my dark circles looked especially pronounced, and it really stressed me out. Even when I covered them with concealer, it would all crease and wear off by the afternoon, making me look even more dull, so I eventually went in for a consultation. The consultation was more straightforward than I expected. Based on the condition of my eyes, they said I didn’t really need to combine it with any other procedures, which actually made me trust them more. I never felt like they were pushing anything unnecessarily. I was honestly really nervous on the day of the procedure, but once I went in, it was over pretty quickly. Afterwards, my eyes felt tight and like there was something in them. It wasn’t really painful, more uncomfortable, I guess? My eyes watered a bit too. When I got home and looked in the mirror, I was more swollen than I expected, so I slightly regretted it and thought, “Did I do this for nothing?” lol The swelling was the worst around days 2–3, and the area under my eyes turned yellowish, almost like a bruise. It was still somewhat noticeable even with makeup on at that point. But after day 5, the swelling started going down quickly, and after about a week, you could tell if you looked closely, but it wasn’t very noticeable otherwise. It’s been about a month now, and the area under my eyes is definitely flatter. The shadows that used to make me look tired are gone, so I look much less exhausted. I used to hear, “Why do you look so tired?” all the time, but I haven’t heard that lately. Honestly, I was worried because of the initial swelling, but as time passed, I understood why so many people get this done. If you’re stressed about shadows under your eyes like I was, I think it’s definitely worth considering. I highly recommend it!

I was really stressed about my epicanthal folds and small, narrow-looking eyes, so after a consultation, I went ahead with inner corner eye surgery. I was worried that opening the inner corners too much would make my expression look harsh, but they opened them just as much as needed to suit my eyes, so they look naturally more open and refreshed. I had some swelling and bruising on the day of surgery, but after the stitches were removed a week later, it quickly went down. There was still a slight reddish tint at first, so I consistently applied scar cream, and after a month, it had healed so neatly that makeup was enough to cover it. Now that the inner corners of my eyes are more open, they definitely look bigger, and my overall expression looks much more defined. I’m really satisfied!
