It has been exactly one month since my rhinoplasty, so I’m writing this review. I had my bulbous nose corrected, a silicone implant placed in the bridge, and septal cartilage used for the tip. The significant swelling around the area between my eyebrows and the bridge, which was still quite pronounced up until the second week after surgery, has now gone down by more than 80%, and my nose looks fairly natural. There is still some residual swelling at the tip, so it feels firm when I touch it, but I can clearly see that my bulbous-looking nose has become slimmer. The side profile is also settling into the pretty, straight, softly upturned shape I wanted. I haven’t had any pain at all, and the incision inside my nose has completely healed. I’m still being careful not to blow my nose forcefully, so I’m taking care of it with cotton swabs. The pulling sensation at the tip when I smiled has also become much softer now that I’m one month out. I’ve been hearing a lot from people around me that it looks natural, so I’m very satisfied and looking forward to seeing how it looks as the remaining swelling goes down.
