At first, I started going often simply because it was close to home and convenient, but now this is pretty much the only dermatology clinic I go to. There are so many dermatology clinics in Hongdae, but personally, I like Vance the best, so I don’t really go anywhere else. I also get Ultherapy, Aqua Peel, and Botox here regularly. There are a huge number of international patients, so at first I thought it would be crowded and that the wait would be long, but thankfully, the wait wasn’t actually as long as I expected. Come to think of it, I also got Lip Filler here. I’ve tried various treatments, and overall, I’ve been very satisfied coming here. The clinic is clean and neat overall, too. I like that the consultants don’t have a habit of pushing unnecessary treatments. I went in for a consultation because I was thinking about getting Ultherapy, but they actually told me that I didn’t really need it yet and advised me not to do it. I trusted them more because they gave me the impression that they recommend only what’s necessary rather than automatically pushing expensive treatments. Anyway, I think I’ll keep coming here, and it’s a dermatology clinic I personally recommend.

I looked into Ultherapy Prime because I was told it’s something you should get once a year, kind of like a savings plan. I visited planning to start with 300 shots. I chose this place because the price seemed reasonable and it looked clean, but after visiting, it was even better than I expected. I especially liked that the head doctor looked at my face and talked me through things before starting the treatment—it was really helpful. Even without me asking, they took care of verifying the device, too... haha. During the consultation, they didn’t pressure me into anything and honestly explained the condition of my skin. They also answered all my questions, so I was really happy with the consultation with the coordinator. I especially liked that they handled everything before and after the treatment privately as well! There were some foreign patients, but it wasn’t packed and hectic like a factory-style clinic, which I really liked. I’d love to visit again next time~

    UnverifiedBaba Plastic Surgery Clinic

I visited a plastic surgery clinic because I wanted to try Ultherapy. I had been bothered by how the contours of my face looked less defined than before whenever I looked in the mirror, but it was difficult to decide on my own which areas would be best to treat, so I decided to have an in-person consultation. During the consultation, I explained which areas concerned me, and after examining the condition of my face, we decided on the treatment areas. I was also told how Ultherapy works and that the level of sensation can vary depending on the area. Being able to ask about the things I had been curious about right there helped me understand the treatment, which had previously felt rather vague, in a more concrete way. During the treatment, the sensation varied slightly depending on the area of my face. They told me which area they were working on, so I could follow along and know what part was being treated, as well as see how the actual sensation differed from what I had imagined. The treatment itself was explained as it progressed, so I wasn’t caught off guard. Afterward, I was given another explanation of what to keep in mind and what to be careful about when checking my skin at home. It was helpful to learn not only about the treatment itself but also how to care for my skin afterward. Having experienced it myself, I was able to better understand how Ultherapy is actually performed and what it feels like, rather than just knowing the name. What I liked most about the visit was that I could ask about the things I was curious about, check them one by one during the consultation, and make decisions accordingly.

I went to the clinic director for Thermage, Ultherapy, Dermal Filler, skin Botox, and Botox. I had 5 cc of filler for my marionette lines. The bruising at the injection sites lasted about a week. All of the procedures were extremely, extremely painful. I’m still not really sure about the results—maybe I’m just not very perceptive~~ My marionette lines weren’t visible because of the swelling, but once the swelling went down, they started showing again after about a month. The long wait was exhausting. The staff were friendly, and the clinic was spacious and clean. There was also a private area where I could rest, which was nice. Maybe because the wait was so long, they even gave me an IV with vitamins. After the procedures, they followed up with me via text and phone calls, which I appreciated. Anyway, it’s really hard to become prettier.

    UnverifiedBarog Clinic Seomyeon Branch

I'm sharing my experience after getting Ultherapy at Barog Clinic in Seomyeon. I was worried about my jawline sagging and my cheeks drooping, but I felt that surgery was too much of a commitment. I was looking for a procedure that would give a natural lift and came across Ultherapy. After comparing several places and reading good reviews about the consultations, I decided to visit and overall, I was very satisfied. First of all, the clinic had a clean atmosphere and the staff were friendly, which eased my nerves on my first visit. I made a reservation and the wait time wasn’t long. After checking in, my consultation started right away. During the consultation, they carefully assessed my face shape and skin condition, and instead of just pushing for a certain number of shots, they explained which areas would benefit the most, which made me trust them. I mentioned that I was particularly concerned about my double chin, jawline, and sagging cheeks, and they tailored the treatment to focus on those areas. Before the procedure, they applied numbing cream and while I was waiting, I felt more anxious than I expected. I had read a lot of reviews about Ultherapy being painful, so I was worried, but it wasn’t unbearable. Of course, there were moments that felt sharp, especially near the bones and jawline, but the doctor checked the intensity regularly and asked if I was okay, which helped me feel at ease. The procedure was more thorough than I expected, and they showed me the difference between each side immediately—it was fascinating to see the jawline difference right away. After it was done, my face felt a bit tingly and there was some redness, but nothing too severe. I was able to wear a mask and go back to my daily activities right away. That day, I felt a little sore, but by the next day, I felt much better and had no issues washing my face or putting on makeup. Above all, what I loved was that as time went on, I could feel my skin becoming firmer. Over the next 2-3 weeks, my jawline started to look more defined, and my face didn’t seem as saggy. People around me even started asking if I had lost weight naturally, so I was quite satisfied with the results. Personally, I wanted a natural look rather than an overly tight feeling, and it was exactly what I wanted. My skin feels a bit firmer and my jawline looks cleaner when I put on makeup, which has reduced the stress of taking photos. I heard that the effects of Ultherapy last quite a while, so I plan to take care of my skin to maintain the results. Overall, I was satisfied with the consultation, procedure, and post-treatment guidance, and I think that anyone considering their first lifting procedure can do it without too much worry. Of course, pain can vary from person to person, but it was much more bearable than I feared, and the results were natural, making the procedure highly satisfying. It’s definitely an experience I would recommend to anyone struggling with their jawline or cheek sagging.

I received the Thermage and Ultherapy package. I was really satisfied with the doctor’s consultation. The doctor carefully examined my skin condition and explained in detail how the treatment would be carried out, which made me feel confident. The doctor also answered my questions kindly, so the consultation itself was very good. I’m satisfied with the treatment as well, although I’ll need to wait and see the results! However, there were also some disappointing aspects. The staff in the Skin Care area seemed a little lacking in professionalism in terms of their explanations and customer service. I felt that the attention to detail was lacking in areas outside of the treatment itself, and during my aftercare, the staff kept going back and forth even though I was in a private room, which felt somewhat distracting and hectic. I found myself wishing the atmosphere had been a bit more organized. Although I was satisfied with the doctor’s consultation and the treatment itself, I was left feeling a little disappointed with the overall care system.

Actually, I've had Ultherapy done at another hospital before, but after experiencing it again at Anti-an, I can definitely feel the difference, so I wanted to leave an honest review. First of all, when I had it done before, the pain management was lacking to the point where I almost cried, but at Anti-an, they were much more attentive from the consultation to the application of the numbing cream, so the procedure was much less difficult for me.

With the increase in my late-night work, my face started to look generally tired, and I felt like my jawline had lost its definition compared to before, so I decided to visit a dermatologist. Even when I wore makeup, my skin looked saggy, and it kept bothering me. I had heard a lot about Ultherapy from people around me, so I thought I'd just go for a consultation.

I felt like the spots on my face were increasing and my skin's elasticity was decreasing every time I looked in the mirror, so I decided to visit Malgeunnuri Clinic. I was only thinking about laser treatments, but during the consultation, they advised that managing both spots and loss of elasticity together would be beneficial, so we had a detailed discussion. The doctor carefully analyzed my skin condition, explaining that I was experiencing both pigmentation issues and decreased elasticity, and they recommended personalized treatment. For the treatment, they performed 500 shots of Ultherapy, considering both spot improvement and lifting at the same time. They applied enough numbing cream beforehand to reduce pain, and during the procedure, I felt a slight sting and heaviness as the ultrasound energy was delivered, but it was tolerable. The doctor was meticulous, adjusting the intensity for each area, which made me trust the process even more. After the procedure, they also provided cooling care to soothe my skin, so any heat sensation subsided quickly. What I appreciated about this clinic is that they didn't just push expensive treatments; they accurately identified the necessary areas based on my skin condition. Instead of seeing immediate drastic changes, I felt my skin's elasticity gradually improving, and after 1-2 weeks, I noticed my skin tone becoming clearer. The procedure had little impact on my daily life, so I was very satisfied.

My aunt gave me this treatment at the clinic she used to go to before her wedding. Since it was a newly opened clinic, the interior was clean and had a quiet atmosphere, which I liked. There were plenty of staff, so the wait wasn't long and I felt comfortable during the treatment. I made a reservation through Naver and there were two doctors. I consulted with the main doctor and got 400 shots of Ultherapy along with other treatments. The effects weren't immediately visible. Personally, it took a little over three weeks for people around me to ask if I had lost weight, and I could notice changes in my jawline when I looked in the mirror. I think the swelling lasted about two days, and I mainly focused on my double chin and jawline. They say the results last for 6 months to a year, but since I'm enjoying it on the left side, I think I'll need to get Botox and jawline treatments regularly.

I had 600 shots of Ultherapy and Thermage. I heard it would be painful, but why was it bearable?? It honestly didn’t hurt at all! I made a reservation for the first time on Friday afternoon and left around 6 PM. There were so many people! It seemed like more than half were foreigners. The service was a bit chaotic, I didn't feel it was unfriendly, but there were definitely a lot of people. I guess it's because it has a factory-like setup. It’s not super attentive one-on-one, but the prices are indeed cheap. It’s been about 10 days now, and I think the visible wrinkles and elasticity have slightly improved; still, it might take another 2-3 weeks to really see the effects, right? If I would visit again, I will think about it after seeing the results first.

Lately, I’ve been more conscious of the shape of my face. When I looked at my profile, I could see the area under my chin starting to sag, and I was also concerned about my deep cheek fat, among other things. Rather than getting lifting treatments like Ultherapy or a Thread Lift, I started looking for something lighter, and after consulting with the clinic coordinator, I decided to get V-cut injections. I received a total of 12 cc of Fat-Dissolving Injection, and I had Masseter Botox 4 days before the V-cut injections. When I watched YouTube videos or Reels, I saw people swelling up a lot after getting V-cut injections, and I wondered if I would swell like that too. Well, I really did swell up a lot. Other people said their swelling went down within an hour, but I think it took more than 5 hours for mine to subside. By around the third week, I felt like the fat under my chin and my deep cheek fat had been noticeably reduced. They say the results become more pronounced after a month, so I’m looking forward to it.

I was worried about my skin losing elasticity and my jawline looking blurred, so I decided to get Ultherapy at a dermatology clinic. During my first visit, the consultation was quite thorough. They checked the contour of my face and the thickness of my skin, explaining where the focus needed to be, which made it easy to understand. They guided me through only the necessary areas without feeling pushy, so it was less stressful for me. Before the procedure, they applied plenty of numbing cream, and then I laid down calmly to start. Since the ultrasound goes deep, there were moments when it felt a bit sharp or heavy, but they adjusted the intensity several times and kept asking how I was doing, so it finished more easily than I expected. The procedure didn’t take long, so it felt like it was over quickly. After the treatment, my face was slightly red and warm, but since I got some soothing care, it calmed down quickly. There weren’t any significant changes on the day of the procedure, but a few days later, I began to feel a subtle tightening in my skin. I especially noticed a difference in the jawline when I looked in the mirror, as it started to look more structured. I followed the clinic's recommendations for moisturizing and sun protection, and there was hardly any disruption to my daily life. I was also happy that I didn’t have any swelling or bruising, so I could go out immediately. Overall, it felt like a natural boost in elasticity, and I thought it was a good choice for those who want to take care of their skin without excessive changes.

As I get older, I feel like my jawline and cheek fat are subtly sagging, so after much thought, I finally went to the hospital for Ultherapy. During the consultation, they carefully assessed my skin condition and the extent of sagging, explaining the procedure in detail, which put me at ease much more than I expected. It didn’t feel like they were just pushing me for the treatment; they really focused on the parts that needed attention, which made me trust them.

There are probably a lot of people who sit and work all day. I also work in the IT industry, and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., other than my lunch break, I’m stuck sitting in front of a computer the entire time. It’s definitely a much more comfortable environment than working outdoors, but after sitting and working all day for so long, my lower back has started to hurt and my pelvis feels stiff too.. ㅜㅜ I didn’t have symptoms like this until my mid-30s, but now that I’m in my late 30s, it could just be because I’m getting older!! Haha. Or maybe my posture has gotten worse without me realizing it~ I don’t get much exercise normally. After work, I’m so exhausted that all I can think about is getting home. I only go to Pilates on weekends, but even correcting my posture through Pilates didn’t get rid of the stiffness in my lower back and pelvis. I started wondering if I should visit a hospital, so I looked for an orthopedic clinic in Jangan-gu. There are several orthopedic clinics in Jangan-gu, but Suwon Korea Bon Orthopedic Clinic was close to my house and also seemed fairly large. Smaller clinics can be fine as long as the doctor is skilled, but I thought it would be better to go somewhere with well-equipped machines and facilities for treatment, so I chose Suwon Korea Bon Orthopedic Clinic. The orthopedic clinic in Jangan-gu is only a 7-minute walk from my house!! That’s pretty close, right? It’s just the right distance for a leisurely walk. Since I only sit while working, the stiffness in my lower back and pelvis got especially worse in the afternoons. So I kept getting up to stretch, Suwon Korea Bon Orthopedic Clinic, the orthopedic clinic in Jangan-gu, is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and until 8 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays. So it’s perfect for visiting after work!! I get off at Sungkyunkwan University Station a little after 7 p.m., so I’ve been going every Monday and Wednesday. On Saturdays, they’re open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a lunch break from 1 to 2 p.m., so keep that in mind when you visit~ Since it’s a large hospital, they also have quite a few medical staff!! There probably aren’t many orthopedic clinics in Jangan-gu around here with facilities this large, right?? Suwon Korea Bon Orthopedic Clinic even has the latest extracorporeal shock wave therapy equipment! Hehe. I heard that it’s really painful.. My aunt had been receiving treatment for a long time because her wrist wasn’t in good condition. She also had extracorporeal shock wave therapy, and she said it hurt so much that tears just streamed down her face ㅜㅜ But strangely, some people say it doesn’t hurt while others say it does, so I guess the level of pain varies from person to person! When I first visited because of the stiffness in my lower back and pelvis, I was worried they might tell me to get extracorporeal shock wave therapy too, but thankfully, it wasn’t necessary for me ^^ The director of Suwon Korea Bon Orthopedic Clinic had apparently worked as a professor at Ewha Womans University Mokdong Hospital!! I felt that I could trust him more because he must have seen many different types of patients if he had worked at a university hospital. And when I met the director, he immediately pointed out what was wrong with my posture. The stiffness in my lower back and pelvis is worse on the left side, you see? He said he could tell just by looking at how I was sitting: my left leg was angled outward a little more, and my body was leaning toward the left, which was why that side felt stiffer. Rather than just listening to my symptoms and treating them, he tried to identify the cause first. I had thought my posture was probably bad, but I didn’t know exactly how it was wrong. After listening to what the director said and checking my posture, I realized that I really was leaning more toward the left!! There was no unnecessary treatment at all, and I was happy that he explained my symptoms and treatment options in detail. Since the pain wasn’t severe, he said there was no need to prescribe strong medication and that I only needed to take something to relieve the symptoms. We also decided that I would receive physical therapy for the time being. I asked if it was okay to continue going to Pilates on weekends, and he said it was a very good form of exercise for my lower back and pelvis, so I shouldn’t go only once in a while but should definitely keep going every weekend. Hehe. Actually, I don’t go to Pilates twice every weekend—I just go whenever I happen to think of it ㅠㅠ I received physical therapy and treatment using a machine called SASO vibration massage! I had been really worried that they might tell me to get extracorporeal shock wave therapy, hehe. SASO vibration massage is said to be a high-performance muscle relaxation device. Unlike a regular massager that simply taps the surface, it delivers vibrational energy deep into the skin, apparently. It’s used before physical therapy, and when they applied it to my lower back and pelvis, the stiffness really improved. When it was at its worst, I even had a heavy, weighted feeling. As I continued treatment, I could feel my overall condition improving, and I even started thinking that I should have come in for treatment sooner. They also gave me a stretching pamphlet with exercises I could follow on my own at home, so I’ve been following along. (They’re related to the knees, but still.) It would be nice if I could take care of my knee health in advance too, haha. I plan to keep going regularly until the stiffness in my lower back and pelvis is completely gone. As the stiffness has improved a lot, I’ve also been able to concentrate better at work. I even find myself looking forward to Mondays and Wednesdays, the days I get treatment, without realizing it, you know? Haha
