What does it do?

Aluminum chloride is an inorganic compound used in dermatological preparations, primarily for controlling excessive sweating. This ingredient works by constricting sweat glands to reduce sweat secretion.

Aluminum chloride temporarily blocks the outlets of sweat glands, decreasing sweat secretion. It also acts to constrict the surrounding tissue of the sweat glands, reducing the flow of sweat.
