What does it do?

Belladonna alkaloids are a mixture of alkaloids extracted from plants, used in conjunction with antihistamines to alleviate allergy symptoms. They are mainly used to relieve respiratory allergy symptoms such as nasal congestion.

This ingredient blocks histamine receptors in the body, reducing allergic reactions and inhibiting the parasympathetic nervous system to decrease mucus secretion. As a result, symptoms such as nasal congestion and runny nose are alleviated.

Approved uses differ by product. Check each product's information for its actual use.

Good to know

Belladonna alkaloids are a mixed form of several alkaloids, and unlike single-component antihistamines, they have a more pronounced effect in suppressing mucus secretion. However, there is also a possibility of side effects, so caution is required when using.
