What does it do?

Benzyl nicotinate is an ester form of niacin (a vitamin B3 derivative) and is primarily used for musculoskeletal pain relief. When applied to the skin, it is used to dilate blood vessels and increase blood flow.

When applied to the skin, it dilates blood vessels and promotes blood circulation in the local area. As a result, it increases the supply of oxygen and nutrients to the muscles, helping to relieve pain and reduce inflammation.

Approved uses differ by product. Check each product's information for its actual use.

Good to know

Unlike niacin, benzyl nicotinate acts directly on the skin to produce a rapid vasodilating effect. It is less irritating compared to other vasodilators and is suitable for local application.
