What does it do?

Dapsone belongs to the class of antibiotics and is mainly used to treat specific bacterial infections such as tuberculosis. This ingredient helps inhibit the growth of certain bacteria, including the tuberculosis bacillus.

Dapsone prevents the bacteria from producing folic acid, which hinders bacterial proliferation. As a result, the bacteria are unable to grow or reproduce, and the infection is controlled.
