What does it do?

Mupirocin is a topical antibiotic primarily used to treat bacterial infections that occur on the skin. This ingredient is particularly effective against Gram-positive bacteria such as Staphylococcus and Streptococcus.

Mupirocin inhibits bacterial protein synthesis, preventing the bacteria from multiplying. This reduces the number of bacteria at the infection site and alleviates inflammation.
