What does it do?

Terbinafine is an allylamine antifungal that is used to treat fungal infections occurring on the skin. It is primarily effective against dermatophyte infections such as athlete's foot and tinea corporis.

Terbinafine works by inhibiting enzymes necessary for the synthesis of fungal cell membranes, thereby stopping the growth and reproduction of the fungus. This helps to eliminate the fungus in the infected area and alleviate symptoms.
