What does it do?

Enzalutamide belongs to the class of androgen receptor antagonists and is primarily used for the treatment of prostate cancer, blocking the signals of male hormones necessary for the growth of cancer cells.

Enzalutamide binds to androgen receptors in prostate cancer cells, preventing male hormones from acting. This blocks the signals for the growth and proliferation of cancer cells, slowing or inhibiting the progression of cancer.
