Purtobrutinib is a targeted anticancer agent used for the treatment of malignant tumors.
MFDS ingredient code M284756
Purtobrutinib is a targeted anticancer agent that selectively inhibits Bruton's tyrosine kinase (BTK). It is primarily used in the treatment of specific malignant tumors, such as hematologic cancers, and is aimed at interfering with the growth and survival of cancer cells.
Purtobrutinib obstructs the activity of the BTK enzyme within cancer cells, disrupting the signaling pathways of these cells. As a result, the proliferation and survival of cancer cells are inhibited, thereby delaying tumor growth.
Approved uses differ by product. Check each product's information for its actual use.
Unlike conventional BTK inhibitors, Purtobrutinib has high selectivity and durability, which reduces the potential for resistance and minimizes side effects. This is a distinguishing advantage over other BTK inhibitors.
