What does it do?

Tenofovir alafenamide hemifumarate is an antiviral ingredient from the nucleotide analog class. It is used in medications to reduce liver damage in patients with chronic hepatitis B and to suppress viral replication.

This ingredient inhibits the enzyme required for the virus to replicate its own genetic material, thereby suppressing viral replication. As a result, the number of viruses in the liver decreases, and liver function improves.
