What does it do?

Tenofovir disoproxil orotate belongs to the antiviral class of drugs and is used to inhibit the replication of the chronic hepatitis B virus. This ingredient is converted in the body to the active form, tenofovir, which interferes with viral replication.

After being converted to the active form in the body, it blocks the enzymes necessary for the virus to replicate its genetic material, thus preventing viral replication. This helps reduce liver cell damage and slows the progression of chronic hepatitis.
