What does it do?

Nintedanib esilate is an anti-fibrotic agent that blocks the activity of tyrosine kinases of several growth factor receptors. It is primarily used to slow the progression of fibrosis in lung tissue. This ingredient plays a role in inhibiting abnormal cell proliferation and the fibrotic process within lung tissue.

Nintedanib esilate blocks the signaling of various growth factor receptors that promote fibrosis in lung tissue. This reduces excessive proliferation of fibroblasts and collagen accumulation, alleviating stiffness and damage to lung tissue. As a result, it has the effect of slowing the decline in lung function.
