What does it do?

Aspirin granules belong to the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) class and are used to prevent thrombus formation by preventing platelets in the blood from clumping together. They are primarily used for the prevention of thrombotic diseases related to atherosclerosis.

Aspirin granules inhibit enzymes within platelets, disrupting the process of platelet adhesion. This reduces the formation of thrombus and lowers the risk of vascular occlusion.

Approved uses differ by product. Check each product's information for its actual use.

Good to know

Unlike other platelet inhibitors, aspirin granules effectively regulate platelet function even at low doses. Additionally, they serve an anti-inflammatory and analgesic role, but are primarily focused on thrombosis prevention.
