What does it do?

Ibrutinib is a targeted anticancer agent component that selectively inhibits Bruton's tyrosine kinase (BTK). It is primarily used for the treatment of specific blood cancers such as chronic lymphocytic leukemia.

Ibrutinib blocks the activity of the BTK enzyme within cancer cells, disrupting the signaling for growth and survival of cancer cells. As a result, cancer cells are unable to proliferate and undergo apoptosis.
