What does it do?

Aspirin enteric-coated pellets are a formulation that has an enteric coating to prevent aspirin from being directly broken down in the stomach. This component is used to prevent thrombus formation by stopping platelets in the blood from clumping together. It is primarily used for the prevention of thromboembolic diseases related to atherosclerosis.

Aspirin enteric-coated pellets inhibit enzymes within platelets, interfering with the process by which platelets stick together. This reduces the formation of clots and lowers the risk of vascular occlusion. Thanks to the enteric coating, it reduces gastrointestinal irritation and is absorbed in the small intestine.
