What does it do?

Bazedoxifene acetate belongs to the class of selective estrogen receptor modulators (SERMs). It is primarily used to prevent bone density loss and reduce the risk of fractures in postmenopausal women. It acts similarly to estrogen while exhibiting opposing effects in certain tissues.

This ingredient binds to estrogen receptors in bone tissue to inhibit bone loss and maintain bone density. At the same time, it blocks estrogen stimulation in tissues such as the breast and uterus, thereby reducing side effects. This provides both osteoporosis prevention and safety.
