What does it do?

Tolvaptan oral tablet is an active ingredient belonging to the class of vasopressin receptor antagonists. This ingredient is used to excrete excess water accumulated in the body, thereby improving conditions such as hyponatremia.

Tolvaptan blocks vasopressin receptors in the kidneys, preventing water reabsorption. As a result, more water is excreted in urine, normalizing blood sodium levels.
