What does it do?

Telbivudine is an antiviral agent belonging to the nucleoside analogue class, used to improve liver function and suppress viral replication in patients with chronic hepatitis B. This ingredient directly inhibits the replication of the hepatitis B virus in the liver.

Telbivudine prevents viral replication by interfering with the enzymes required for the virus to replicate its genetic material. This helps reduce liver cell damage and improve liver function.
