What does it do?

Levofloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic used to treat various bacterial infections. It is primarily effective against infections of the respiratory tract, urinary tract, skin, and other tissues.

Levofloxacin works by interfering with the DNA replication of bacteria, preventing them from multiplying. As a result, the bacteria at the site of infection are killed, leading to an improvement in symptoms.
