What does it do?

Budesonide is a synthetic corticosteroid compound, primarily used to treat respiratory inflammatory diseases such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, as well as inflammatory bowel diseases. It is included in medications to suppress inflammatory responses and improve symptoms.

Budesonide inhibits the production of substances that cause inflammation and regulates the immune response, reducing edema and inflammation of the bronchial and intestinal mucosa. As a result, breathing becomes easier and symptoms related to intestinal inflammation are alleviated.
