Vitamins D and E should be appropriately supplied throughout the life cycle, including during pregnancy, lactation, growth, and old age. Vitamin D aids in the healthy development of bones and teeth and plays an important role in preventing rickets. Zinc and selenium are also essential minerals for maintaining bodily functions, and it is advisable to ensure they are not deficient. These nutrients are especially needed during growth and old age, and are used to enhance health and prevent various deficiency symptoms.
