This medication is used to manage scar tissue such as hypertrophic and keloid scars, acne scars, and surgical scars that appear after wound healing. It helps to prevent or improve scar formation in the wound area, enhancing the appearance of the skin. It is effective in reducing discomfort caused by scars and promoting skin regeneration, making it suitable for post-wound treatment.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Apply to the wound and surrounding skin once daily and gently massage. For hypertrophic scars, it can be applied thickly the night before and secured with a bandage for overnight application.

Children's dosage

Apply to the wound and surrounding skin once daily and gently massage.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by individuals with an allergy to any of its components. This medication should not be used for infants under 6 months of age. Those who have had hypersensitivity reactions to heparin, have a tendency to bleed easily, or have low platelet counts should avoid this medication. This medication should not be applied to areas with open wounds or that have not yet healed. This medication should not be used on mucous membranes or areas with purulent infections. Pregnant women are advised not to use this medication. During treatment with this medication, it should not be used alongside anticoagulants or blood-thinning medications to reduce the risk of bleeding. Application of this medication around the eyes or on mucous membranes should be avoided. Care should be taken to ensure that the area where this medication is applied is not exposed to sunlight or ultraviolet light. Women who are breastfeeding should consult their doctor or pharmacist before using this medication. If allergic reactions occur while using this medication, use should be discontinued immediately and a specialist consulted. For children, especially infants under 2 years old, methods that involve wrapping the medication with a bandage for an extended time are not suitable. When used for children, careful supervision and management by a guardian is required. This medication should be stored in a safe place out of reach of children. Removing the medication from its original container and storing it in another container can lead to misuse or degradation of quality, so it should always be kept in its original container with the lid tightly closed.
